ROLE AND MISSION
The Technical Specialist – Projects and Solutions serves as a technical reference within the service team. They actively contribute to the execution of projects and the development of solutions tailored to clients’ needs. Their role also includes supporting the sales teams in preparing technical proposals and validating architectures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Projects and Deployments (35%)
- Plan and execute implementation, migration, and modernization projects (cloud, cybersecurity, M365, network, servers, etc.).
- Ensure technical coordination between the project team and the service team.
- Perform post-deployment validations and ensure compliance with MSP standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment methods and templates.
Sales Support and Consulting (35%)
- Collaborate with the sales department to define technical solutions that meet client needs.
- Conduct environment assessments and provide improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical quotes and validation of implementation costs.
- Participate in client meetings when technical explanations or demonstrations are required.
Support and Technical Expertise (20%)
- Provide level 3 support for complex incidents and infrastructure issues.
- Offer technical mentorship to level 1 and level 2 technicians.
- Participate in root cause analysis and the implementation of long-term corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and internal procedures.
- Keep client infrastructures current and compliant.
- Contribute to the development of new technical standards.
DESIRED PROFILE
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical support or IT infrastructure.
- Excellent mastery of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure, networking, and security environments.
- Hands-on experience in managed service environments (RMM, PSA, backup, antivirus, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in project mode, with rigor and autonomy.
- Comfortable interacting with clients and simplifying technical concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset, initiative, and technical leadership.
ASSETS
- Microsoft, Azure, Fortinet, VMware, or equivalent certifications.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Amazon, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with MSP platforms.
- Interest in cybersecurity and digital transformation.
- Interest and knowledge in artificial intelligence tools.
